Elettromeccanica Tironi signed with one of the most important European Transmission Utilities, two multiannual contracts for the supply of Autotransformers rated 250MVA, 400kV or 230kV.
Both contracts, has a validity of 3 years base each (with possibility to extend them for 2 years more) and have a base value of approx. 30 Millions Euro (40 Millions $) and are different for the oil preservation systems used.

 

If the first contract foresees for STD mineral oil, the second one is entirely with Natural Ester oils and will involve important know-how and technological investments.

Elettromeccanica Tironi is extremely proud for having been selected for a such important strategic supply that will project the company among the few world companies to have currently between their 400kV references units with Natural Ester Oil.

This contract will further consolidate the position of Elettromeccanica Tironi among the companies with a major vision in terms of CSR.
