Elettromeccanica Tironi’s production of power and special transformers continues also during this partial lockdown.

In the last weeks in particular it has been completed the testing and shipment of transformers for mobile stations for the Italian Railway Network.

The series of 4 identical 5750 kVA ,141(70.5)/2.71-2.71 kV units was built and tested meeting end customer’s expectations despite the current difficulties and the units are now stored at customer’s site ready for final installation.

One of the peculiarities of these transformers are the HV connections made with latest generation of plug-in buhings that allow installation in a very short time and without the need to lower the transformer oil with obvious advantages in terms of necessary time for the commissioning and therefore increased resilience of the installations.
