Elettromeccanica Tironi is proud to announce that it has received a Special Mention at the Emilia Sostenibile Award 2026 for the best innovation in supply chain transparency and sustainability.

The award initiative, promoted by UCID Bologna in partnership with Confindustria Emilia Area Centro, recognizes companies that stand out for their commitment to sustainability, innovation, and responsible business practices.

The award was collected in Bologna by Marco Tironi, Purchasing Director of Elettromeccanica Tironi, on behalf of the company.

The recognized project focused on the development and certification of an innovative process for issuing a Material Passport for the company’s transformers. The passport provides transparent information on the materials contained in each transformer, including their origin, recycled content, and end-of-life recyclability.

This initiative represents an important step towards greater transparency across the entire value chain and demonstrates Elettromeccanica Tironi’s commitment to combining technological innovation with environmental sustainability.

The recognition rewards the company’s ongoing efforts to integrate ESG principles into its business processes while supporting the energy transition through increasingly sustainable solutions.
