ELETTROMECCANICA TIRONI has been designing and manufacturing oil-immersed electric transformers for over 60 years at Modena's historic site, where both engineers and technicians are focused on developing new and innovative solutions, primarily increasing the reliability level.
Nowadays ELETTROMECCANICA TIRONI is able to propose the following production range:
- Power Transformers and Autotransformers up to 500 MVA - 420kV
- Distribution transformers from 50 to 2500 kVA
- Furnace transformers
- Traction transformers
- Special transformers
- Reactors
- Regulators
- Arc Suppression Coils System (Petersen Coils)
The monthly production capacity of our facilities consists of about 7÷10 power transformers and autotransformers and about 200÷250 distribution transformers, that is, about 550 total MVA monthly (divided into 500 MVA of Power and 50 MVA of Distribution) for a total of 6,500 MVA annually.
Despite the substantial accuracy of the data, ELETTROMECCANICA TIRONI's production capacity is influenced by many factors such as: weight, size and type of cooling of the produced transformers, target market. This means that, in front a of timely communication of the ' Order, the company can easily satisfy even higher requirements.
For each order ELETTROMECCANICA TIRONI sends a chronological Activity Program for the supply to which the customer can refer to schedule any collateral activities and / or repairs.
This is updated and sent at least monthly so that a continuous and correct planning of all plant activities can be possible.
