Another sign left by ELETTROMECCANICA TIRONI, part of the synergy between school and work.
The president Maurizio Tironi is in fact one of the founding members of ITS (High-level Technical Institute), a course after graduation, quite innovative for our Country.
Twentyfive students have been selected, two years, the total duration of a course that aims to provide (after the five years of high-school) a higly specialized training in the mechanical field, with a particular reference to the use of materials.
One of the main characteristics of this course is that the 40% of the lesson hours will be devided into stages at local mechanical industries, among them, ELETTROMECCANICA TIRONI.

 

 

In addition to the qualification of “High-level Technician” – issued by the Education Ministry and recognized at European Level – the course should guarantee to all partecipants a high level of employability. Based on the philosofy of “learning by doing”, this process of specialization is a collaboration between different realities of Modena territory: not only factories and local authorities, but also professional training institutions, the Itis Fermo Corni, the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia and the Democenter Sipe.
To attest the importance of this project was the very long list of authorities present – last November 28th – during the “ribbon cut”: Modena Mayor, Mr Giorgio Pighi, the President of the Province, Mr Emilio Sabattini, the Provincial Councillor for Education, Mrs Elena Malaguti, the Municipal one, Mrs Adriana Querzè, the Councillor of Education of Carpi province, Mrs Maria Cleofe Filippi, and the Regional Councillor for School and Professional Education, Prof. Patrizio Bianchi, who mid-morning rose the pulpit to hold the inaugural lecture of the course.
At the beginning of the day however, were the Mayor of Modena Giorgio Pighi and the President of the Province to “christen” the newly formed Foundation, uncovering a plate at the headquarters in Aldo Moro street n.25.
One of the main characters during the last part of the day was Eng. Maurizio Tironi: a celebrating plate with the image of the Foundation was given to him and to the other founding members as recognition for all efforts made to contribute for the creation of such a unique project in Italy.
