The 2011 programme of the Company guided tours, ended on Wednesday 30th November for middle-schools students, promoted by Confindustria Modena within the project “Teenager in factory”, which reached with a great success its fourth year.
The idea of creating a connection between school and companies – opening the doors of Modena industries to middle-school students – has gathered a wide appreciation:
since 2008 almost 1.600 students in Modena district visited 49 companies in different manufacturing areas.

 

 

ELETTROMECCANICA TIRONI could not miss this opportunity, and on Wednesday 30th has opened the doors of the transformers world to the students coming from Giosuè Carducci middle-school.
Making the honors, was Eng. Maurizio Tironi, who dropped down for a day as a guide and teacher.
After a tour of the company and its production departments, he started a real applied electromechanical lesson, with a direct involvment of the young students.
He started with a demonstration on the magnetic field and then continued with practical tests on magnetic induction operation and, obviously, of a transformer.
First taste of what could be the future work, but also a concrete example of synergy between the school and the industry.
Hoping that the students of today may become the technicians and engineers of tomorrow.
