It has been just published the new Annual Report and Corporate Social Responsibility for the year 2014.
This publication, issued in Italian and English, is already being distributed to all the stakeholders to provide interesting data about the activities of TIRONI’s world.

The eclectic Istanbul, synonymous of trade and commerce, has all the characteristics to become the main target of an imminent expansion for exports and Italian production in the land of the Ottomans.
A real "Turkish mission" has taken shape from 1st till 4th of May; this included a team of twenty-three Italian companies, included Elettromeccanica Tironi, represented on the occasion by MD Matteo Tironi.

A new important recognition for Elettromeccanica Tironi in the competition "Corporate Social Responsibility Award 2010" organized by the Province of Modena. It is with great satisfaction that the prize is received, delivered by the Provincial Councillor Mrs. Daniela Sirotti Mattioli, reflecting the company's continuous efforts to improve the lives of its employees and their family members making the company a better place to live and helping as much as possible life outside the company. The 2011 programme of the Company guided tours, ended on Wednesday 30th November for middle-schools students, promoted by Confindustria Modena within the project “Teenager in factory”, which reached with a great success its fourth year.
The idea of creating a connection between school and companies – opening the doors of Modena industries to middle-school students – has gathered a wide appreciation:
since 2008 almost 1.600 students in Modena district visited 49 companies in different manufacturing areas.

Another sign left by ELETTROMECCANICA TIRONI, part of the synergy between school and work.
The president Maurizio Tironi is in fact one of the founding members of ITS (High-level Technical Institute), a course after graduation, quite innovative for our Country.
Twentyfive students have been selected, two years, the total duration of a course that aims to provide (after the five years of high-school) a higly specialized training in the mechanical field, with a particular reference to the use of materials.
One of the main characteristics of this course is that the 40% of the lesson hours will be devided into stages at local mechanical industries, among them, ELETTROMECCANICA TIRONI.
Another step has been made on the synergy between the school and work worlds; twentyfive students coming from ITS Course (High-Level Technical Institute, where Eng. Maurizio Tironi is one of the founding members) visited Elettromeccanica Tironi during a day of study on “magnetic materials”.
The tour has been divided in three main phases: movies vision on the production, cutting and assembling of grain oriented magnetic steel; transfer to the Quality Control departments and Test Room in order to see the different acceptance phases and tests on cores; the demonstration of the practical use of cores in a workshop production.

ELETTROMECCANICA TIRONI get another important certificate of its adequacy to modern production processes: after the “quality” (ISO 9001, dating back to 1994) and “environment” (ISO 14001, dated 2010) certifications, came also the declaration of conformity in accordance with BS OHSAS 18001:2007. This is the most reliable recognition of the company professionalism as far as its safety system is concerned: the certificate – issued by DNV (Det Norske Veritas) after a depth analysis of the safety procedures refined over the years by Elettromeccanica Tironi, certify that the system of managing health and safety at work complies with the requirements of BS OHSAS 18001:2007 standards.

Last December, the Chamber of Commerce of Modena award during a pubblic ceremony the « Award for loyalty to work and economic progress», to business in the province with have made outstanding contributions in the industrial, commercial, artisan, agricultural and services.
The awards have been given personally to the winners from the the Président of the national Unioncamere Ferruccio Dardanello and the Président of the President of the Chamber Maurizio Torreggiani.
The competition was organized by the Chamber of Commerce of Modena in 2010 in order to highlight and reward the longeval and successful companies of who have dedicated their lives to a worthy and uninterrupted business activity.
Those candidates, reported by trade associations of self-nominated, were examined to verify that the conditions required by the special announcement were satisfied.
